We are extremely happy with the RPS 800 system!!!!! I took the kit down with me to the Dominican Republic two weeks ago and we went to a village called Los Placeres. I was afraid that the solar panels which Dominican engineers recommended would be the wrong ones. They are 260 watt 31v made in Thailand. We used four of them two by two in series and the twins in parallel.
This was our very first solar powered water project and the village needed it! We had been working in Los Placeres (visiting twice a year) for the last two years and we tried to install a gravity fed system but there was not enough water from way up in the mountains. Excuse the poor way we set up the control box and the panels, but we do things very simply because we hope the local people will be able to someday duplicate the way we work. Anyway, the pump and the blessed controller worked superbly, and the pump shut down where there was not enough water in the poly tank. The water is pumped up way above where I thought it would go and it is now providing water for over 20 families.
I am very very grateful that you people know what you are doing and you make high quality components. You made it so much easier for us to work with the village and do something we never tried before. Even as the sun was overcast, the pump still could send the water all the way to the holding tank above the village. The locals are more than happy. The pump fills up the holding tank twice a day. It is a 500 gallon tank and each family has one faucet.

My Windmill with the RPS 8 panel solar array powering my dual power source well! This is in Prescott, AZ. I hope you guys like it.
Everything is going well! We are so pleased to have water. Soon we will need a larger system, but for now, cheers to well water!
