I never write reviews, however, after a lot of research on my end, and deciding a solar pump to be my best options I reached out to RPS. The sales team and engineers were wonderful. They took all my info and ran numbers to make sure I had the right system to do the job I was after. I have a 2000' water line from the pump to my irrigation project. I am using drip irrigation to water 500 Christmas trees at a time. I have been so impressed with the systems performance I strongly recommend anyone who needs water and is off the grid this is the best option to get it. I have had the system running for over a month now and it will even provide water during cloudy, and light rain powered off just the solar panels. I give the RPS pumps and the RPS team the highest rating possible. Great folks and very helpful.
I bought an RPS 600 pump for the well at my off-off-grid cabin (no cell service or internet). Thank goodness I watched the excellent installation video several times, because the pump arrived without the promised 30+ page color installation manual. The kit also lacked the barb and fitting necessary to work with the 1' poly pipe that RPS knew I was using. Thankfully, I was able to adapt plumbing materials from my tool box, and I made it all work from memory. The pump is excellent and works great, but the controller on the non-professional models lacks the programmable timer that I needed and was assured was part of the device. When I complained and asked customer service to email a .pdf of the installation manual (like I said, I'm off-grid with no mailing address), they refused and mailed one to who-knows-where. Great product, but they need help with their professionalism.
Everything arrived on Monday and had everything installed and running by yesterday. I'm very pleased with the resources provided to me by the RPS team, it made installing easy. I look forward to working with you again.
