Customer Reviews
After doing research on solar pumps for two years I bought the RPS for a 50 foot deep hand dug well. When the kit arrived I bench tested it and , even with the waning sunlight power in November, it worked perfectly. Nothing broken. No poorly or cheaply made parts. No extra gimmicky junk that I just have to throw away. This is excellent. Exactly what I needed. I have two more hand dug wells that used to have windmills to buy pumps for. The expense to run power to each of these three wells exceeds the pump system cost and then you have to pay $40 per month for a meter fee year round. So what these excellent pumps are is replacing wind power ( windmills ) with solar power. Same idea just 150 years later. All these wells were dug by my family and I know they would be happy to have them back in use after 60 years. I have cleaned out two of them ( the lids caved in ) and 50 feet down a three foot diameter hole is not fun. The easiest part was buying the pump. Excellent help in picking what I needed. I will post later after I have used it for a couple years. Reminds me of buying stuff at Sears: just go in and buy the appliance, bring it home and install it and forget about it.
I installed the Pro Series pump a few years ago and used it, initially, to water my garden/animals on my building site. Now my house is nearly complete and it is tied into my pressure tank to supply my home water needs. The quality of the product is great and the technical support was super helpful and responsive whenever I had questions.
We're pumping now! I'm thinking of adding a battery though. My well is slow so most of the day it's waiting for water recovery unless I turn the speed down to 2.5~ Sterilized yesterday and today the water is clear but still chlorinated. Can't wait to taste test and send a sample next week.
The install went very easy and everything was easy to understand how to put together . I look forward To no more windmill repairs. I wish I had a pump like this a long time ago .
Thanks so much!
Today I completed the installation of my solar well pump and it’s working well. I’m enjoying the sweet sound of water pouring into my tank from the power of the sun! It’s especially sweet after almost three years of overcoming obstacles. Thank you!
