Try to keep this short. I received my pump in hopes to keep my farm pond full so one day my boys can enjoy a farm pond to swim in and fish like I did. Spending 2k makes me sick to my stomach but after a lot of research I pulled the trigger on a 400 watt solar pump from RPS. First 5 days was great! Then I noticed my pump wasn’t working as well. It was sometimes cloudy but I didn’t think it should mess with the flow as much as it did. I reached out and the customer service was great and offered a solution thinking it may be a power issue. Never question my intelligence or how I installed the pump. As I waited on my part to arrive I’d check the well every few hours during the day. Sunday morning bright as can be and no water. I pulled the pump and stuck it in trash can full of water. Pump worked however I noticed sand in my pipes. So I put it back in the hole and nothing. Wondering if the bottom of my well had collapsed at all I decided to replace the pumping mechanism and try to pull the pump 10 feet up since I still had a 20’ head at that depth. Sure enough there she blows. Pumping better than the first day. I reached out and let RPS know that the issue wasn’t their product but my well. I offered to send them back the part and for another spare mechanism. They responded within the hour after hours to let me know I could keep the part in case I needed it in the future and said they would send out a new mechanism. I haven’t experienced customer service this good. Thank you RPS
