Our Pro Series V pumps are designed for high volume, low head (under 300ft) applications. They can be self-installed or using a local installer. More than 300ft head? See Pro Series MidorPro Series D – Deep Solar Well Pumps
Our Pro Series D systems use hearty 3-Phase Motors and 3.9″ Pump Ends. Our controllers are the best in the world and allow customization and optimization based on sun and season. Easily switch between solar and another 220V backup power source when the sun isn't shining, like a generator or grid power, using the Pro Controller autoswitching feature. While the four systems outline below are our most popular sizes, we regularly help design systems with pumps up to 6″ and multiple 5 HP models for larger projects. More info on Larger Systems up to 200GPM here.
Find out more about all the ways you can use a submersible pump on our install diagram page.
Systems Include: - Brushless Submersible Motor (3 Phase 220v, 3.9” Diameter) - 2.2 kW Rated Solar Controller (takes DC Voltage from Solar Panel array +Auto-Switch to run with 220v Grid or Generator when not enough solar) - Large Float Switch for use as high water tank sensor - Stainless Steel Pump End (sized to your well and water needs) - Solar Array in Mono/Poly Aluminum-framed UL Solar Panels - All connector cables from solar panels to controller - Built In No-Slam Check Valve - DC cut-off disconnect switch rated for your array, plug and play with MC4s - Simplified Wiring Diagrams for easy hookup - Phone & Email support before and during installation - 2 Year Comprehensive Warranty

Our application for the solar pump is a bit different than most. The solar pump was installed to maintain the water level in a lake. Prior to the solar pump, water was pumped into the lake from a 40 hp turbine pump located close to the lake. The well was already in service for irrigation with the turbine pump. We lifted the turbine pump up and lowered the 3 hp solar submersible down along the side of the 8" turbine pump discharge pipe. The well casing is 16", the turbine pipe is 8", and the submersible solar pump is 4". We moved the turbine pump off center about 2" to better accommodate the solar pump. Both pumps are able to work simultaneously. It is too early to tell if the solar pump will be adequate for maintaining the lake levels but it works great. The discharge nozzle breaks the water into meany sprays which helps oxygenate the water.

We are up and running. It’s super dry here and our goal is to fill up a man made 1.5 acre pond that has been dry for 3 years. Super simple to set up and we are very happy with the product!

Wife and I went over this morning, it was fifteen degrees below zero. We got ten inches of snow on the ground in Illinois. Day was out clear skies. We went on our morning with a cup of coffee and watched to pump water fifteen ft below. So, yeah, everything's working fine
