With our same best-selling RPS pump controller and a brushless motor, this pump offers small to medium scale surface/transfer/booster pumping with ease. Stainless steel impeller housing and impeller means it won't wear out. This solar direct-drive system can attach to the outlet of any storage tank or does suction up to 15' so can draw water up from ponds, springs, creeks and shallow wells. It can pressurize water systems for irrigation or cattle waterers but compare with Tankless Pressure Pump if 24 hours water pressure is needed as that system uses batteries and can pump outside the 'solar day'. The T400 will pressurize to about 40psi during full sun.
Mono-Crystalline Solar Panels (4 or 8 depending on kit)
Solar pump controller
Brushless Motor Transfer Pump (1" FNPT input & output)
Wire to MC4s to connect controller to solar panels (20 ft)
Wire to connect pump to controller
Parallel splice connectors (for 8panel kit)
Installation Manual with step-by-step instructions
Note: When drawing from a pond, spring or other water source located below the pump, a foot valve (one-way valve with filter, not included) is needed to maintain prime in the suction line.

MATCHING PSI & WATER ESTIMATES TO A SOLAR PUMP
Gardeners, food foresters, homesteaders, ranchers- they’re all trying to get the best bang for their buck while also planning to expand operations in the future. You may only use 20PSI drip lines now, but in the next two years plan on watering pastures with 60 PSI sprinklers. RPS recommends sizing up to the next most powerful model if you know that you’ll need a bit more power in the future. Upgrade from 4 solar panels with the T400 to eight solar panels for the T800. If the T800 fits current needs but is insufficient for future irrigation, choose the Pro Surface Pump (ProS750, ProS1000, ProS200, etc.).
We feel it important to mention that our team is not on commission so expect our help, not pressure to purchase. Our job is to help get you water, not sell you something that isn't a good fit for you or your well. It's why thousands of American farms & ranches trust RPS.Note from RPS co-owner Mike.

We actually have pumped just a couple of days ago. I pump from a pond that is about 800 feet from the tank. Another pump pressurizes the water from the tank to the rather massive sprinkler system. Love it!
I got to be one of the early testers (Thanks guys!) and have been running for over 6 months without a hiccup. Move from the rain catchment up to the upper tank where I can flow it down into 4 troughs on either side of the ridge. Nice little pump. Happy chugging away all day.
Installed on on my son's land
Bought as gift. Works well with an inline hot water heater. better than the Shurflo one he had there previously. Good flow. Cycles less.
