Once again RPS is showing that you guys are a step above the rest in customer service, a rare quality any more.
We just started up the pump and so far so good. Very easy to install, great manual, great service.
I attached a few photos, nothing special but great location on the Central Coast of CA. I didn’t do the solar install, just replaced the failed Grunfos pump so the array is not mine.
Installed the 400v Aug. 3rd, very easy setup. Comes with everything you need, except a valve on top. But that is a personal choice. At the end of Aug. we moved into full time off grid living. In September we where in the middle of one eastern Washington largest fires. The Whitney fire near Davenport Washington. It performed well given all the smoke from the fire. Others in the area lost commercial power which means no water, house burned to the ground. Not us. Now in December the unit is still going strong. No need to worry about freezing as the water in the pump line drains back into the well after you shut it off. Perfect for freezing cold climates like ours. If I had to complain, and I only have one, the solar panels don't work very well on even the slightest cloudy day. My offgrid solar system does but the RPS panels don't.
I just got up and pumping. It’s wonderful. I used and existing 4” well that was on the property. I just enlarge my pond that is 400’ away and it seems to be pumping about 7 gpm. I need a few more pipe fittings but here some pictures. We are very happy with the quality of everything we bought. The solar panel pole kit is very nice.
