I purchased the RPS 800 Solar Water Pump System about 18 months ago. It arrived in perfect condition with all attaching parts included. It was easy to follow the directions and was up and running within a day. The first foto shows my original installation with a 40 gallon pressure tank. It provided water for several cattle stock tanks and irrigation sprinklers for some recently planted field grass. I could run 2 sprinklers at a time with good pressure. The second foto shows my current installation. I no longer need the sprinklers and have installed a 3500 gallon tank which now gravity feeds the stock tanks. The new pump house doubles as a tool shed. You will notice the sloped roof. I intend to remove the solar panels from the pole and install on the roof. The system works great with no problems thus far, I am very satisfied with my experience and highly recommend RPS.
I wouldn’t do this for just any business BUT, because RPS Solar is/was so incredibly efficient from the initial ordering, up to the final flip of the switch, I will happily give you a review.
I live on 2 1/2 acres in Golden Valley, AZ. I have been here for five years.
Originally I was paying $37 for a 1,500 gallon delivery fee. Two years later it was $60.
I decided to put in a Well, so I hired a dowser who came highly recommended. He found three places and even gave me the approximate depth of each.
During this process, a friend of mine told me about the Solar option with a flexible pipe and supposedly easy to install.
I was 78 years old at the time so I had plenty of time to do research, of which I did plenty.
So I gave RPS Solar a call and was connected to Daniel.
I could not have asked for a more considerate, helpful person!
At every turn, Daniel was “always” there for me and “always” returned my emails and calls.
Every business ought to adapt your companies customer service policies!
The install went perfectly as the instructions were easily understood.
The Well is 250' deep, they hit water at 200' and my pump is at 240'! I have a 2,500 gallon storage tank that is 200' from the Well.
When the moment of Truth came, I flipped the switch and waited patiently. I had three green lights and was good to go!
I did have to flush out the Well and storage tank with chlorine bleach to kill the algae but it was no big deal.
I have had “NO” problems of any kind in the two years since the install.
I do not hesitate to recommend RPS Solar when appropriate!
